Press Release : Incharge DG (P&D) HEC and Project Director (Campuses) visited Ghotki Campus

Engineer Waheed Ahmed Mangi, Incharge Director General (Planning & Development) Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad and Project Director (Campuses) paid a visit of Ghotki Campus of Shah Abdul Latif University. Prof. Dr. Syed Maqsood Zia, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Ghotki Campus and Faculty Members welcomed the guest.

Prof. Dr. Syed Maqsood Zia briefed the guest about the potential of the campus and future possibilities for strengthening Ghotki campus.

Speaking on this occasion, Engr. Waheed Ahmed Mangi lauded the efforts of incumbent Pro-Vice Chancellor for uplifting the campus from the scratch. He encouraged the young faculty members for their commitment and devotion. He briefed the major role of HEC and its functions in carrying the smooth work with sub-campuses which are working under HEC. He added that HEC has utilized 300 Billion rupees under this mega project of sub-campuses in all over Pakistan just to make sure that every citizen must be provided equal opportunity to get higher education. He also assured of granting the funds to the campus on emergency basis.

The members of civil society and renowned educationists, Mr. Hafiz Qadir Bux Awan and Mohammad Hassan Baloch, were also present on the occasion and assured the campus administration to support at every level for the betterment of campus.

In this occasion, Prof. Dr. Syed Maqsood Zia, Pro-Vice Chancellor, appreciated the continuous support of Higher Education Commission. He told that he was very confident to promote the campus in meeting international standards of education under the outstanding leadership of honourable Vice Chancellor, Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur, Professor Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto .

Later the Project Director visited the land site allocated for establishing new building of the campus. He showed his satisfaction over the site and recommended to submit the feasibility report to the concerned department at an earliest.
