QEC Department of Shah Abdul Latif University, Ghotki Campus, organized a workshop under the title “Job Hunting Workshop” on Tuesday 2nd of March, 2021. The aim of this workshop was to facilitate the students of first ever passing out batch of different departments. QEC invited the renowned speakers Prof. Dr. Irum Rani, Department of Business Administration, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur and Prof. Dr. Naveed Shaikh, the Director QEC, Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur to carry out the said workshop. During their talks, they focused and emphasized on career development and discussed the issues related to professional growth of new incumbent. Prof. Dr. Irum Rani trained the students regarding Resume & CV building, and writing cover letter as per the international standards. She emphasized on the importance these marketing tools of individuals, which attracts the attention of employer. Prof. Dr. Naveed Shaikh, while talking to students, discussed different career plans and encouraged the students to assess the core competencies of themselves and identifying their strengths. The speakers applauded the efforts of Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Syed Maqsood Zia Shah for giving the real market exposure to the students of Ghotki Campus by arranging such workshops and seminars.
At this moment, Prof. Dr. Syed Maqsood Zia Shah, the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Ghotki Campus, appreciated the efforts of Mr. Kashif Arain, the QEC In-charge and the whole team to attain the institutional goals. He vowed that he would continue to work with full of determination and courage under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, the Vice Chancellor, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur. The workshop was attended by the huge Number of students.
